Camera Collector, Photographer

Now who says you need to spend hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars building a decent camera collection?

I guess if you want a bunch of shelf queens with fancy-ass names like Leica, Contax and Rollei, you'll have to spend big bucks.  However, if you're like me, you would probably rather have a decent collection of bona-fide shooters with names like Argus, Exakta, Kodak, and Pentax that are capable of making really fine photographs while turning a head or two out in the street.

I've been building my collection over the last five years and seldom spend more than  $10 on any one camera.   In the process of building my collection, I have gathered a wealth of useful information from countless individuals and organizations through a variety of Internet groups and other resources.  I have assembled this site to showcase my some of my photographs, as well as my collection of cameras, and to share the information I have gathered over the years.

Thank you for visiting and please share your opinions and ideas with me via email at jsurp@yahoo.com .

Welcome to my site and please,
Have a Pleasant Day!
A frugal camera collector and photographer,
James M. Surprenant
