II. Installing Telephoto Lens
- Be sure Rangefinder Dial (A) is set at infinity (oo). Grasp Telephoto Lens at Collar (H) and screw into camera to right as indicated by arrow until tight. Now turn Lens Collar (H) slightly to left lining up infinity mark (oo) with red Focusing Scale Arrow (G).
- Drop Idler Gear (B) into position and replace Idler Gear Cap (C).
Camera is now ready for Telephoto pictures. Use Rangefinder and focus the
same as with the Cintar Lens. Use the same exposure settings. If the lens
markings are not now readily visible from the top of the camera, see the
Adjusting Focus - Telephoto page.
III. Installing Wide Angle Lens
- Remove Cintar Lens as shown on Removing Cintar page. With Rangefinder Dial (A) set at infinity (oo), grasp Lens Collar (H) and screw into camera as indicated, turning lens to the right. Seat lens firmly and line up Arrow (G) with infinity mark (oo). Drop in Idler Gear (B).
Make sure Rangefinder Dial (A) and Arrow (G) are both lined up at infinity (oo). Screw on Idler Gear Cap (C). With the Optical Viewfinder in place, the camera is now ready for Wide Angle picture taking. Use the Rangefinder for focusing as you did with the Regular Cintar Lens. IV. Replacing 50MM Cintar Lens
- Remove either interchangeable lens as you did the Cintar Lens. Set Rangefinder Dial (A) at infinity (oo). Grasp Cintar Lens at Collar (H). Screw Lens into the camera turning to the right past resistance point until seated firmly. Turn Lens (K) to the left until first tooth is positioned to engage Idler Gear (B). Drop in Idler Gear (B). Make sure Ranqefinder Dial (A) stops exactly at infinity mark (oo). This is essential for proper focusing.
- Rotate Rangefinder Dial (A) to 3 foot mark and screw on Idler Gear Cap (C). Camera is now ready for picture taking. Keep supplementary lenses in leather case for protection when not in use.
V. Adjusting Focus - Telephoto

If the Depth of Field Scale is not visible from the top of the camera -- a convenience, not a necessity -- the following adjustment may be made with a small jeweler's screw driver.

Rotate Rangefinder Dial (A) until Focusing Scale Arrow (G) is at infinity (oo). Mark Lens Collar (H) with pencil mark (X) below Rangefinder Window (J). Remove Telephoto Lens in the same manner as you removed the Cintar Lens in instructions on page 7.

Lens in hand, set Red Focusing Scale Arrow (G) again at infinity mark (oo). Make another mark (Y) on thread of lens directly in line with first pencil mark (X) on Lens Collar (H). See illustration.

Using the small jeweler's screw driver, loosen four tiny screws (Z) two turns only. Then turn threaded ring either way until mark (Y) on threads is in line with the Red Focusing Scale Arrow (G) on lens. Tighten four screws... all four screws must be seated. Screw on Lens Cap to test if threads are clear.
VI. Adjusting Focus - Wide Angle
